Composed and with libretto (using text taken directly from Herman Melville's American literary classic, Moby Dick) by Gary Goldschneider, this two-hour multimedia opera has its world première in Amsterdam...

I've met the composer, heard the music and concept and I can't stress enough how excited I am about this production – and want to share this extra special tip for 2004 with visitors to the site. Really, get those tickets fast as they'll be snapped up.

The work is being performed by an independent group of prominent British opera singers – including Benjamin Bevan, Sebastian Brouwer, Elliot Goldie and Maureen Brathwaite – under the direction of Nick Heath (Opera à la Carte), with a score for an orchestra of 30 players.
