Premières, masterclasses, talks with guest filmmakers, a peek at special effects pioneers George Mélières and Lon Chaney plus a retrospective of the work of Peter ‘Lord of the Rings’ Jackson all feature at this annual film fest devoted to the horror, cult, sci-fi and animation genres.

Highlights include ‘The Night of Terror’, an all-nighter with back-to-back screenings of horror films and ‘Rocket Cinema’ when DJs mix a new soundtrack live to a screening of a film. Note that on 17, 18 April in the afternoon, there’s a special themed programme for children.
