American author and voting-rights campaigner Steven Hill is giving a talk in Amsterdam as part of a European tour.
The Senior Analyst at Washington’s Center for Voting and Democracy and author of Fixing Elections: The Failure of America's Winner Take All Politics will discuss the upcoming U.S. election – including the dangers of computerised voting machines and the possibility of another ‘Florida fiasco’. A frequent guest on radio and television, his commentaries appearing in the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and newspapers across the USA. The event has been organised by Democrats Abroad and there will be the possibility for voter registration also on the night.
