The national opening of the new cultural season when performers show previews of what culture vultures can expect to see over the coming year...

Around 300 performances (all free!) are taking place both indoors and outdoors and every discipline is represented from mime and dance, opera and classical music, to cabaret, theater, and pop music. The festival is held at various locations around the Leidseplein and Museumplein and acts appearing include Information on the cultural season and theater groups etc. can be found at the Info Market which is set up on the Museumplein on Sat and Sun from midday-6pm.
