The eighth edition of this inspired gay and lesbian film festival, The Pink Film Days, takes place at the Cavia, De Balie and the Filmmuseum and include's the latest underground offerings as well as the old favourites such as Hitchcock's Rope, Bond gem Diamonds Are Forever (partially shot in Amsterdam), the moving The Times of Harvey Milk and vampire classic Daughters of Darkness...

Guests include Wash West, who will introduce his film, The Hole, a porn variation on The Ring and Lynn Breedlove of cult band Tribe 8 and author of Godspeed (see also Lectures). This year, the festival opens with the martial arts film So Close from Hong Kong in which stunning ladies fight while The Carpenters play in the background. Following the film is the opening party Embrace Your Dark Side at the Catacombes (Haarlemmerstraat 124c). See Parties for more information.
