Scott Albert Johnson was born in St. Louis (also the birthplace of the great poets T.S. Eliot and Chuck Berry) and grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. He returned home to Jackson in early 2003 and has quickly made his mark on the thriving Southern music scene. His soulful, technically astonishing harmonica playing crosses every musical genre (rock, blues, jazz, funk, gospel, bluegrass, soul, even classical), while his singing and songwriting combine to touch the heart as well as the mind. Tonight he'll be supported by members of the Backbones. Further dates in the Netherlands are:
4 March: Nix BBBlues Club (Enschede, 9.30pm)
5 March: Blues Cafe (Apeldoorn, 10pm)
