Regan is emeritus professor of philosophy at North Carolina State University. He has earned acclaim and awards for his writing, teaching and filmmaking. His most recent publication is last year's Empty Cages: Facing the Challenge of Animal Rights. Tracy Metz, journalist for the NRC Handelsblad, will present and moderate the evening.
